Counselling for Youth (ages 10-24)
(Greymouth Only Currently)

Family Start is starting a Youth Counselling Service. Currently this is in the beginning phases while we work out the best way to run this service for our local youth.

Currently we have two options:

Option 1. Private Pay: We will invoice for $100 per session, you can fund this yourself or fund this from elsewhere

Option 2: This option is for people that are likely eligible for a Disability allowance from Work and Income. First Session is free and we will use this session to help you fill out paperwork for Work and Income (We recommend checking to see if you are eligible first), then subsequent sessions are charged at $100 per hour but should be covered by your disability allowance. (As Max Disability allowance is $70 per week, sessions may only be 30 minutes per week to begin with).
